Guido Cocomello is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer from Montreal who now lives in Southern California.
Guido trained with the late Academy Award-winner Mike Nichols at The New Actors Workshop conservatory in New York. He has since performed in numerous theatre productions in Montreal, New Jersey, and NYC.
Onscreen, he has appeared in: Being The Ricardos with Nicole Kidman (directed by Aaron Sorkin), the Oscar -nominated Ford v Ferrari, Being Human (Syfy), Fatal Vows (Discovery), General Hospital (ABC), The Last Ship (TNT), All American (CW), Better Things (FX), American Horror Story (FX), and S.W.A.T (CBS)
As a comedian, Guido has performed at Just for Laughs and now headlines across Canada. His debut comedy album Chocolate and Banana was released through On Tour Records and is available on all streaming platforms.
Tony Calabretta
DIRECTOR
Tony Calabretta has been an active member of the film, television and theatre scene for over three decades.
Tony has optioned two adapted stageplays, Damn Those Wedding Bells! and The Glam Mothers, both of which were praised as comedic triumphs that captured raw, gritty family struggles. The latter just wrapped production with an anticipated May 2023 release date.
Tony has appeared in over 70 films and television programs for networks such as HBO, CBS, and NBC, including The Punisher – War Zone, The art of More, and Blood and Treasure.
Tony’s performance on the CBC/Radio Canada co-production of Ciao Bella landed him an Outstanding Performance nomination at the Montreal ACTRA Awards.
Milva Franzini
STAGE MANAGER
Milva Franzini is an actress, mother, and acting teacher.
Milva completed the Professional Theatre Program at John Abbott College in Montreal, and after graduation, moved to New York to study at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.
Her theatre credits include productions of Shakespeare in The Park, Love Pizza,, and Chapter Two, to name a few. She has also appeared in a range of music videos, television commercials, and independent films.
Most recently, Milva manages the Yellowbug Theatre School, which she founded in 2008.
Sal Ciolfi
PRODUCER
Sal Ciolfi is a writer and editor with 18 years of experience.
A graduated of Concordia University’s Graduate Journalism Diploma program, Sal was a contributing editor at Maisonneuve Magazine, where he published dozens of investigative features.
Sal was also the Editor-in-Chief at Workopolis, where he ran Canada’s most popular career and management magazines, with over 1 million monthly readers. Currently, he is the Content Director for a leading marketing agency in Toronto.
Before producing “So She Married a Guido,” Sal produced over a dozen tours for US and Canadian indie rock and pop artists, including Code Pie, Senzafine, Made Up, and more.
